Amendment to allow board to co-opt an EU-resident board member

This topic recently came to light, so I’m creating this placeholder amendment for future discussion.

WHEREAS the Resonate board is required to have an EU-resident board member at all times,

WHEREAS democratic elections cannot guarantee this

THEREFORE the board can self-appoint an EU-resident board member, if there is not already one on the board

THEREFORE the term of the appointed board member will be 1 year, or until another EU-resident board member is elected by co-op membership

Perhaps a similar rule could extend gender parity and diverse representation per Manifesto.
