Our consortium (Fairbnb.coop, Pavilion and Resonate) have just had a very warm welcome and strong support for our proposal to establish a W3C task force on co-operative credentials… basically a ‘commons’ of co-operative identity
Our approved w3c work item will kick off soon. We’re engaging with platform.coop and we hope this new task force can become a open, non-proprietary and technically excellent place for co-operatives to engage on verifiable credentials (schemas, protocols, crypto) Co-ops can co-operate in building a co-operative ecosystem based on ‘digital dignity’, as @richjensen highlights.
