I’m planning on closing my artists account and want to make sure that all my tracks are removed as part of the process.
Does deleting my account automatically delete all my uploaded tracks and associated metadata?
technically as some songs are owned by listeners after they have listened to them a certain amount of times they have the right to download them a year after the artist decides to close their account. so i don’t think it would automatically delete them.
however, we haven’t implemented that functionality yet so I personally don’t see any harm in removing the songs. I could also check if any if your songs have enough streams to indicate someone they own your song, DM me your email and I can do that.
