I must have watched this lecture about 20 times since the years it was released. Its a good talk especially when you feel a bit lost or disillusioned, which is easy to feel in the music industry/world at large right now. Iggy’s lecture here somehow always makes me feel a little bit grounded, and he makes beautiful points. If you have an hour and haven’t seen this, (and especially if you dont know who Jonathan Peel was or how important he was to music) definitely give this a watch: Iggy Pop’s Lecture “Free Music in a Capitalist Society”
